International HackCamp

Delft • 27-28 April 2011

Itinerary

Tuesday April 26th

Travel / check in at The Armory in Delft.

Wednesday April 27th – Thursday April 28th – International HackCamp.

The idea is to have a bit of an international HackCamp for 2 days with demos on the Thursday.

Note: if you don’t feel like hacking code, there’s a large kitchen to hack food and plenty of things to do nearby.

Friday April 29th – Tourism.

Delft is located in between The Hague and Rotterdam, which means Friday is a perfect day to get to see some of the other cities in The Netherlands besides Amsterdam. Additionally Delft is often titled “Little Amsterdam” and definitely worth a view too.

Saturday April 30th – Queensday.

One of the biggest parties in The Netherlands to celebrate the Queen’s mother’s birthday. The whole of The Netherlands gets turned upside down with parties, festivals, massive flee markets, drinking in the streets, and obviously lots of orange. The best place to celebrate this is obviously in Amsterdam so we will be heading there for some good fun and a view of Amsterdam in a very unique way and remember to bring something orange!

Sunday May 1st – Free.

Want to do some more tourism? Want to hang out at The Armory? This day is open for anyone to go and do what they want but we might plan something together when we’re there.

Monday May 2nd – Check out.

We need to check out quite early, 9am, but that’s not going to be a problem as public transport is just around the corner. See travel for more details.
